Senza un senso apparente,

la pittura si dischiude e tace.

Nulla rimane di fronte a noi.

Non il profilo che riconosco come ombra:

il mio proprio, approssimato a me.

Possibile.

Per questo reale, che riconosco

nel punto di fuga di prospettiva e vertigine.

e nel ritardo, di un ritratto impresso

nello squilibrio del tempo.

Il pittore è solo:

… con lo sguardo fuori fuoco

in attesa.

Dilettante.
